As a freelance copywriter, I’ve worked on projects that flow like a dream and ones that, well, not so much! The good news? We’re in this together! To make our collaboration smooth and successful, here are some tips that both of us can follow:

  1. Know what you want (kinda): We get it - sometimes you’re not 100% sure what you need, and that’s okay! But giving us some direction, even if it’s just sharing what you don’t like, helps a ton. On our end, we’ll ask the right questions to get us both on the same page. Teamwork makes the dream work!

  2. Doable deadlines: We love a good challenge, but let’s agree on timelines that fit your needs but also allow for creativity and quality. We promise to keep things on track if you give us the time we need to do our best work. After all, a non-frazzled copywriter is a creative copywriter. 😉

  3. Feedback: the good, the bad, the ugly: Constructive feedback is a must. If something isn’t hitting the mark, let us know! We’ll tweak, adjust, and perfect it. And hey, we’ll share feedback with you too, so we’re always improving the process together. Communication is key!

  4. Payment: unfortunately it’s not optional: We love what we do, and we know you value our work too. Work with your copywritier to make sure invoices are handled smoothly on both sides. After all, prompt payment = happy copywriter = even better content for you. It’s a win-win!

  5. Trust the process: We know it can be hard, but try to sit back and relax - you hired us for our expertise and we’re here to deliver. We’ll keep you in the loop and collaborate closely, but try to trust us to work our magic.

So there it is - a little crash course in working with freelance copywriters. By working together and keeping things balanced, we’ll create content with the Oomph you need! ✨
